My Story
I began my journey of discovering what it is I want to do for my career during my first job at 17 years old. I was the single employee on a small horse ranch local to my hometown of Raleigh, NC. As the only groundskeeper I was responsible for a multitude of tasks including, pasture mowing, operating heavy machinery, landscaping, painting, drainage system installation, and many more. Holding so much responsibility at a young age helped me see what truly goes into producing high quality work. After my 2 years on the ranch, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and quickly found my way climbing the ranks in the infantry. My new work ethic and independence in problem solving made adapting to the arduous tasks and requirements feel natural. After 6 years, 3 advanced schools, 3 deployments, and 2 Instructor titles earned in the infantry, I requested to be transferred to Parris Island, SC. Here I spent another 4 years serving as a Marine Training Unit Instructor, where I eventually became the Chief Instructor, earning my second Chief Instructor title of my career. It is in Beaufort where I made the decision to start this business. As I near the end of my time in the Marine Corps I decided my next line of work needs to be something where I personally can control the quality and honesty of my work. I aim to offer a level of clarity you won't find anywhere else. Through epoxy I have discovered a love for working with you to design a project unique to you, while at the same time leaving my mark on the community with every job.
